I forgot how much I love that feeling...
Jun. 3rd, 2009 10:15 amI decided to get back to basic exercise in addition to biking and eating right. I'd really gotten out of practice, and was dismayed when I found I could only manage 11 push-ups. But I've been doing them for the past three days now and I'm up to 15 push-ups. Added in sit-ups too, and I can manage 2 sets of 25 okay.
But this morning, when I started push-ups and put some weight on my arms, I felt that muscle burn that reminds me I'm not used to using those muscles. I know it's a little twisted, but I love that feeling. Heat and a good kind of ache... sooooo good.
Why the hell did I stop this over the winter? *annoyed with self*
